5 Senses Gift Idea - for him or her

This Valentines day I wanted to do something special for my boyfriend. My birthday was last month and I came to home to a delicious home cooked Italian meal on top of a white table cloth with rose pedals and candles covering the floor along with a bottle of the first wine we had together. He lit candles on a little cake and sang me Happy Birthday. The night ended with a romantic candle lit massage. He even put relaxing music and a nice picture up on our projector. I almost cried. That being said I felt like I should step it up for Valentines day this year.

Touch

My boyfriend and I love giving each other massages so what better gift for touch than a massage table?!

So here’s something I think we needed very much, because one of life’s simple pleasures, is touch.

Taste

For taste I went with one of our favorite wines, Apothic Red and wrapped it up with another edible surprise. You could do a favorite candy, chocolate covered strawberries (my favorite). Or an edible oil or something more intimate.

I could never get enough of those sweet kisses, delicious dinners or our sexy wine nights.

Smell

We love lighting candles around the house. They set the mood with nice lighting and smell great. I also included a massage candle to go with the massage table gift. Another addition, bath salts for a lavender bubble bath $5 - Target. I was also considering a bath bomb, but I wanted to fill the tub with bubbles instead.

This massage candle was $15 from Amazon Kama Sutra Candle and smells WONDERFUL

Woodwick candles are my favorite. The smell is great, they last a long time and the wick actually sounds like a fire crackling. It's very relaxing!

You’re always so romantic, lighting candles everywhere. Let this gift set the mood tonight, with new aromas in the air.

Then, I’ll meet you in the bathroom where bubbles fill the tub, we’ll de-stress together with something I thought would be fun.

Sound

For sound I purchased I love you, I love you more pillow cases, because that's kind of our little thing. He also loves holding a pillow while he sleeps so it's special for us.

My note:

The sound of your voice is comforting to me, because you always know what to say.

But, when you say these little words you still take my breath away.

I also know you find comfort in these squishy little things, so next time I can’t stay, hold this close, & I won’t feel so far away.
